Membership Information

By now, you’ve hopefully spent time exploring our website to get a taste of who we are and what we do at Scottish Games, Renaissance Faires, and School Events. We are a family friendly guild, members of all ages are welcome. Members under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult member parent/guardian.

If you are interested in joining our cast, please contact us to arrange spending some time with us at one of our next events (see our calendar) to get a true sense of what it means to be a member of St Andrew’s while performing at Games and Faires. No acting experience is necessary to join, only a desire to learn and in turn educate and interact with the public about 16th century life. Please contact our Membership Coordinator, Brittah Sutherland H`elie (see contact page), if you are interested in learning more about joining St Andrew’s, or if you wish to spend time with us at an upcoming event.

One trial weekend spend with us is a prerequisite to actual submittal of the application forms below; no application from a new member will be accepted until this is completed.

We have members who attend every faire and event, and members who attend a few. Please know that members are free to participate at whatever level they wish and as their personal schedule allows, but certain historical characters require larger commitments and approval of the Guildmaster.

Our standard Application Form and either the General Character Profile OR the Historical Character Portrayal Request are required of all volunteers  These forms can be sent in before or after your trial weekend.  Upon completion of your trial weekend and receipt of approval from management, the forms must be filled out completely and returned prior to your being added to our next event gatelist.  If you have any questions, please ask before returning the package – we will be more than happy to help!  Forms may be either mailed or emailed to:

A General Release, Liability Waiver, Indemnity Agreement, and the consent forms may be required at a later time, and must be completed separately for each member. There is a form for parents or guardians to sign for minors.  Thank you for your support.

If you intend to deliver your completed forms and payment to Guild Management during an event, THEY MUST BE ATTACHED TO EACH OTHER BY A STAPLE OR BE PLACED IN A SEALED ENVELOPE! The loss of any one page (especially, the payment) will cause delays in getting your membership processed. This could prevent you from being added as a Participant on a gate list at an event.
